Laneige Neo Cushion Refills: Case Fit and Shade Changes

Laneige’s Korean Neo Cushion Mewy and The Glow pages state that their refills fit existing Neo containers, while also flagging brighter color appearance than the earlier Glow and Matte. Reusing the case therefore does not settle the shade choice. Check the exact line and full shade code before ordering.

Check the Neo case and refill pairing

Identify the Neo case you own and the exact replacement line. The official compatibility notes discussed below concern these Laneige pages; they do not provide a cross-brand fit list.

Two independent cushion-refill checks: confirm the exact case and refill pairing, and separately check the product formula and full shade code. Then verify whether the sale option includes a case or puff.

Our earlier Korean cushion-foundation shortlist discusses finish and how to read shopper rankings. This guide takes the next question: what to verify when you already own a compact and are shopping for a replacement.

The useful detail in Laneige's Korean footnotes

The Korean Neo Cushion Mewy page states that its refill is compatible with existing Neo Cushion containers. That is useful packaging information. The same page also says the color appearance is brighter compared with the existing Neo Cushion Glow and Matte, and directs readers to a store for detailed color comparison.

The Korean Neo Cushion The Glow page likewise carries an existing-Neo-container compatibility note and a brighter-color comparison with existing Glow and Matte. Its comparison section describes distinct matte, semi-matte and glow options within the family. The page does not turn container compatibility into a promise that those finishes will look the same.

The notes do not list every old case, limited edition or miniature. For an unfamiliar version, send its label and a photograph to the brand or seller for confirmation.

Two Korean phrases help locate the relevant information: 용기와 리필 호환 가능 refers to compatibility between the container and refill; 화사해진 컬러감 describes a brighter color appearance. Do not translate both as simply “upgraded cushion.” Doing so loses the distinction that matters to a refill buyer.

Save the full shade code, not just the number

On the checked Mewy page, the displayed options include 21C Cool Beige, 21W Warm Beige and 23N Neutral Sand. The letters and names are part of the selection. Saving only “21” removes information the brand uses to distinguish two options on that very page.

Write down the product line and full shade code from the refill you currently use. Compare that with the exact option in your basket, including the finish name. If you are changing lines, revisit the current swatches rather than treating a familiar number as confirmation that the result will match.

Laneige directs shoppers to a store for detailed color comparison. If ordering from abroad, ask for the current shade information for the exact version rather than treating a familiar number as a match.

This comparison uses Laneige’s published notes, checked October 13, 2026. It includes no physical fit test or shade-conversion chart.

Make the basket match the replacement you need

A product photograph can show a complete compact while the selected sale option is a refill. Read the contents for that option, rather than counting what appears in the campaign image. 리필 means refill, 케이스 means case, and 퍼프 means puff; look for an explicit included-items list when any of these matters to you.

If your Neo case is covered by the brand’s compatibility note and you want to retain it, compare the named refill options. If you are changing from the earlier Glow or Matte to Mewy or The Glow, also compare the current shade information: Laneige flags brighter color appearance. For an unlisted case version, send the seller your case label and ask, “Does this exact refill fit this case, and is a puff included?”
