Korean Cleansing Oils: Glowpick’s 2026 Top Three
The cleansing oils most visible in English-language K-beauty shops are not always the ones Korean shoppers rate highest. Glowpick's 2026 first-half awards put three products at the top of its cleansing-oil category: Manyo Pure Cleansing Oil Deep Clean, beplain Mung Bean Cleansing Oil and Primera Mild and Perfect Cleansing Oil to Foam. They solve three different problems, so the ranking is more useful as a buying map than as a single winner.
The Korean top three, with the sample size visible
Glowpick is a Korean beauty-review platform whose awards are based on consumer reviews rather than an editor's product test. Its 2026 first-half cleansing-oil award placed Manyo first, beplain second and Primera third. The current product pages have continued collecting reviews since the award window closed, so the table separates the award rank from each product's live rating and review count.
| 2026 award rank | Product | Current rating | Reviews | Korean list price | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Manyo Pure Cleansing Oil Deep Clean | 4.57 | 1,230 | ₩29,000 / 200 ml | Waterproof makeup and a traditional oil-cleanse feel |
| 2 | beplain Mung Bean Cleansing Oil | 4.31 | 459 | ₩29,000 / 200 ml | A lighter daily oil with a clean rinse |
| 3 | Primera Mild and Perfect Cleansing Oil to Foam | 4.11 | 153 | ₩26,000 / 200 ml | One-bottle convenience for people who dislike an oily finish |
Award order comes from the 2026 first-half Glowpick Awards. Live ratings, review counts and Korean list prices were checked September 11, 2026 and will change as new reviews and promotions appear.
The most useful number here may be 1,230, not 4.57. Manyo has more than twice the review volume of the other two products combined. That does not make it universally better, but it makes its strengths and weaknesses less dependent on a small group of enthusiastic early users.
The dated Korean list prices put all three between ₩26,000 and ₩29,000 for 200 ml. Compare the exact variant, quantity and delivered price on the seller’s current listing.
#1 Manyo: choose it for full makeup removal
Manyo's Deep Clean version is the most conventional cleansing oil of the three. The brand describes it as a washable vegan oil for heavy waterproof makeup, built around grapeseed oil. Its Korean ingredient list also includes ethylhexyl palmitate, sorbeth-30 tetraoleate, hazelnut seed oil, bergamot oil and lavender oil.
Glowpick's review summaries line up with that positioning. Cleansing power is the clearest positive: reviewers repeatedly mention foundation, sunscreen and waterproof makeup coming off without the heavy drag they associate with some oils. A large group also mentions blackheads or sebum, although those results are less consistent. Treat pore-clearing comments as user experience, not proof that the product permanently changes pores.
The tradeoff is fragrance. Bergamot and lavender oils, plus the listed fragrance allergens limonene and linalool, make this a poor blind buy if scented face products usually bother you. A few reviewers also report residue when they rush the rinse.
Manyo's own directions explain the step that prevents most of that residue: start with dry hands and a dry face, massage, then wet your hands and massage for about 30 seconds until the oil turns milky. Only then rinse with lukewarm water. The milky change is emulsification—the surfactant system dispersing oil into water so it can leave the skin instead of coating it.
Buy this one if: you wear tenacious base makeup or water-resistant sunscreen and want removal power first.
Skip it if: essential oils or scented skincare are common irritation triggers for you.
#2 beplain: the lighter everyday choice
Beplain's Mung Bean Cleansing Oil takes the middle position, but its appeal is different from Manyo's. The official Korean formula starts with ethylhexyl palmitate and cetyl ethylhexanoate, uses sorbeth-30 tetraoleate as its main emulsifier, and adds green-tea seed oil, panthenol, allantoin and small amounts of mung-bean extracts.
The brand positions it for waterproof makeup, sebum and a moist finish. Glowpick reviewers most often distinguish it by texture and rinse: they describe a fluid oil that spreads quickly and emulsifies without a stubborn film. That makes it the easiest recommendation for someone who wants a classic oil cleanser but does not enjoy a rich oil sensation.
The product name can make the mung bean sound like the main cleansing engine. It is not. The cleansing work comes from the emollients and emulsifier; the botanical extracts sit much farther down the ingredient list. Buy it for the way the formula handles makeup and water, not because a plant name promises a special pore treatment.

Beplain gives the same essential directions as Manyo: apply on a dry face, massage, add water and emulsify for roughly 30 seconds until milky, then rinse. That similarity is useful. If one oil leaves a film and the other does not, the difference may be formula, dose or emulsification time—not proof that your skin cannot use cleansing oil at all.
Buy this one if: daily sunscreen and light-to-medium makeup are your usual removal job, and fast rinsing matters more than maximum makeup-cutting power.
Skip it if: you want a foam finish or routinely wear very stubborn eye makeup.
#3 Primera: a one-step compromise
Primera's product is structurally different. It begins as an oil-like cleanser and produces foam after water is added. Its official ingredient list leads with water, glycerin and a mix of cleansing agents, with caprylic/capric triglyceride and jojoba seed oil farther down. In other words, this is closer to a hybrid foaming cleanser than to a bottle of mostly oils.
That design solves a routine problem: some people double-cleanse because they need two products, while others do it because every oil cleanser feels unfinished until foam follows. Primera combines those sensations in one bottle. Glowpick reviewers praise the rinse and convenient cleansing step, but the current 4.11 rating is lower than the other two, and some reviewers say eye makeup needs extra work.
Some reviewers report that eye makeup needs extra work. If your eye product needs a separate remover, follow its directions instead of rubbing longer.
Primera also lists fragrance. If your skin or eyes react to scented cleansers, do not assume the words “mild” or “one step” guarantee compatibility. Patch testing cannot predict every facial reaction, but it can keep a new cleanser from becoming a full-face experiment on the first night.
Buy this one if: you want one pump bottle and strongly prefer the clean finish of foam.
Skip it if: removing waterproof eye makeup is your main reason for buying an oil cleanser.
How to choose without overbuying
Start with the makeup and sunscreen you need to remove. Compare the cleanser’s directions for that job, including whether a separate eye remover or follow-up cleanser is specified.
Then choose by finish, not skin-type folklore. Oily skin does not automatically rule out cleansing oil, and dry skin does not automatically require the richest formula. All three are rinse-off products. What matters in practice is whether the cleanser dissolves what you wear, emulsifies fully and leaves your skin comfortable after rinsing.
Use the smallest routine that completes the job:
Apply on a dry face as directed, massage gently, add water to emulsify, then rinse. Check the named product’s instructions for any follow-up cleanser. If eye makeup remains, use the remover specified for that makeup rather than extending the massage.
The award order provides a shortlist. Use the named product’s ingredients, directions and the review themes above to choose between a conventional oil, a lighter-feeling oil and an oil-to-foam format.
